IB Programme
Conniston Middle is an International Baccalaureate school that offers the Middle Years Program (IB-MYP) to a diverse, multicultural learning community. Our instruction extends beyond the classroom as we foster independent learning, intercultural and ecological awareness, and recognition of universal values. The school is led by a staff focusing on the need for effective human capital in a rapidly globalizing world. We strive for balanced development of intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills.
The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end, the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
